Global education is a dynamic process of developing interconnectedness and solidarity that includes the deepening of critical knowledge, skills, and attitudes to promote equitable, inclusive, and socially just practices and norms. It is characterized by being situated in multiple contexts, values, and identities, enabling learners and educators to consider, analyze, and respond to the various contexts of difference and inequality, including, but not limited to oppression, stigmatization, poverty, racism, and violence. Simultaneously, it holds the potential to nourish global citizenship, connectedness, and transformational action, placing collective responsibility and shared understanding at the center of the learning process.
